We have lots of updates to report for Uncommon Love Ministries and our Bible studies!
First, we wrapped up our third Uncommon Love Bible study support group last week in Loveland. Can I just say: It. Was. Awesome! 🙌🏻
It was wonderful hearing from these ladies how God has changed their lives these past 10 weeks. I am so, so thankful to be a part of what God is doing!
Our Denver group took last week off, so we will be in chapter 4 of the study this week. Our group is small, but God shows up every week, and again, it’s just so incredible to be a part of it.
In a couple of weeks we will be welcoming the newly completed group into the Uncommon Love alumni group at our monthly dinner. Our alumni group is growing! 🎉 This is perhaps the part of this ministry I love the most—seeing these parents continue to build loving, supportive, Christ-centered relationships with each other on this journey…. #weneedeachother ❤️
And finally, we are working to build a team of leaders to serve as ULM’s Steering Committee. (Official announcement coming soon!) From there, only God knows where ULM will go and grow! Please be praying for us as we make decisions and plans for this ministry. 🙏🏻
And, please pray about how God may be leading YOU to serve alongside us! We need a dedicated group of prayer warriors (you can do this from anywhere!), and if you live in our area, we could benefit from volunteers to help out with administrative duties on occasion.
Also, if you’ve been through the Uncommon Love Bible study, please ask God if He may be leading you to facilitate a group at your church. The need for more groups is great. You don’t have to be a great leader in order to facilitate these groups. God doesn’t call the equipped; He equips the called. 😊
As for me, my heart is full of gratitude, joy, and hope. Our God is so amazing! And I am thrilled for the opportunity to have a front row seat from which to see what He is doing. All praise and honor to Him! 🙌🏻
If you are interested in attending one of our Bible study groups (in person or over the Internet**), or if you would like to bring the Bible study to your church (wherever you are), please send me an email. (We will train you and provide ongoing support to you.) If you’d like to be on our prayer team or serve in any way alongside us, please email me.
The need for support for families of LGBT families is tremendous. Together we, as Christ’s hands and feet, can be the conduit for that support.
